Pakistan National Accreditation Council conducted Seminar on Halal Accreditation; Adding Value to Lifestyle and Economic Success at The University of Lahore Islamabad Campus on 31st December 2019.
PNAC is grateful The University of Lahore Islamabad Campus management to provide the opportunity to conduct this seminar. Stakeholders from different fields such as regulatory authorities, certification bodies, Sharia experts, academia was participated in the Seminar.
DG PNAC Mr. Ateeq-ur-Rehman, Cheif Guest Dr. Sadia Deputy Director the University of Lahore, Dr. Abdul Rasheed Director DRAP and Maulana Muhammad Naveed addressed with the stakeholders during Inaugral session. During Technical Session Mr. Azhar Iqbal Director PNAC, Mr. Abdus Sami Deputy Director and MR. Farooq Azam Deputy director PNAC give presentations on Halal Accreditation it's importance, need and Role of Halal Accreditation. Cheif guest Deputy director UOL, Director DRAP and DG PNAC also distributes Certificates to guests and participants.
The 2 days expo has been organized in PCSIR Lahore on the role of science and technology education for industrial development. The purpose of this expo is to highlight the importance and need for research education to upgrade technology to cope up the technological changes. PNAC, being one of important influential organization of S&T promotes the importance of accreditation as a tool to increase the opportunities for enhancement of businesses and exports. PNAC emphasize that the country's development is not possible without strong link between academia, S&T organizations and industrialists. PNAC can play pivotal role through accreditation in improving the quality of research and technology which leads country towards quality innovation to benefits and development of the industry.
